Job Description:

• Preparing engineering designs and drawings based on preliminary concepts, sketches, calculations, and customer specifications
• Examine drawings for conformity and errors, ensuring consistency in production
• Create 'Equipment Parts' list for all designs
• Participate in design review meetings
• Organize and schedule to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently and on time
• Work with other designers to complete project work
• General shop and office support
• Ensuring honest and accountable work throughout operations
• Other duties not listed in the job description may apply

Job Requirements:

• Experience with 3D CAD modeling
  • Autodesk Invertor preferred
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Excellent ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
• Able to work in a fact-paced environment where teamwork is essential
• Experience in creating Fabrication Drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
• Background in machine design with a mechanical aptitude, FEA experience a strong asset
• Experience in Sanitary Design considered a strong asset
• Post-secondary education in relative field considered a strong asset
