Job Description:

• Create and review welding cell concepts for feasibility and ability to meet production targets
• Scheduling, contractor coordination, liaise with vendors, etc.
• Research and develop with new technologies and components
• Welding cell improvements such as welding, sensors, clamps, jig modifications and cell layout
• Weld parameter creation and changes, troubleshooting, MIG/Spot welding set up and robot program structure modifications
• Must be capable of troubleshooting and creating new logic for PLC Programming

Job Requirements:

• Electrical or Mechanical technologist diploma or higher
• PLC troubleshooting or programming - 2+ years' experience
• Electrical design and schematic comprehension
• Robotics experience
• Vision system knowledge
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office experience
• Fabrication and Welding experience
• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment
